Uma fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o realizada na BR-401, em Boa Vista (RR), resultou na apreens\u00e3o de 10 quilos de ouro, avaliados em mais de R$ 7 milh\u00f5es, transportados ilegalmente em uma caminhonete que havia sa\u00eddo de Manaus (AM). O motorista foi preso ap\u00f3s apresentar informa\u00e7\u00f5es contradit\u00f3rias e n\u00e3o comprovar a origem do metal. O ouro estava escondido em um fundo falso no painel do ve\u00edculo.<\/p>\n

A opera\u00e7\u00e3o ocorreu na quarta-feira (22), apenas dois dias depois de outra grande apreens\u00e3o no estado, quando a\u00e7\u00f5es coordenadas pelo Governo Federal resultaram no confisco de R$ 25 milh\u00f5es em ouro.<\/p>\n

Coordenadas pela Casa de Governo em Roraima, as opera\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00eam o objetivo de interromper a log\u00edstica usada por garimpeiros na regi\u00e3o Norte, especialmente nas rotas terrestres que cortam o entorno da Terra Ind\u00edgena Yanomami (TIY).<\/p>\n

\u201cEssa apreens\u00e3o faz parte de um conjunto de a\u00e7\u00f5es permanentes do Governo Federal, de longo prazo, para impedir a explora\u00e7\u00e3o ilegal de min\u00e9rios em terras ind\u00edgenas. Seguiremos atuando para desarticular a log\u00edstica que tenta sustentar o garimpo ilegal em Roraima\u201d, afirmou Nilton Tubino, diretor da Casa de Governo.<\/p>\n

Desde mar\u00e7o de 2024, opera\u00e7\u00f5es integradas com for\u00e7as de seguran\u00e7a federais t\u00eam resultado na apreens\u00e3o de ouro, combust\u00edvel, motores e aeronaves utilizadas por garimpeiros, al\u00e9m da inutiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de estruturas log\u00edsticas em regi\u00f5es de dif\u00edcil acesso. A fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o terrestre segue refor\u00e7ada em estradas estrat\u00e9gicas para impedir o transporte de min\u00e9rio ilegal no estado.<\/p>\n
