Por meio da Secretaria da Sa\u00fade do Estado (Sesab), o Governo da Bahia abriu, nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (11), um processo seletivo que possibilita o acesso de 60 estudantes de baixa renda ao curso de medicina, em Cuba. Os interessados podem se inscrever at\u00e9 o dia 11 de novembro.<\/p>\n

Com dura\u00e7\u00e3o de seis anos, o programa prev\u00ea cobertura integral de custos, incluindo matr\u00edcula, hospedagem, alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e bolsa de estudos.<\/p>\n

As vagas s\u00e3o destinadas a alunos de baixa renda residentes, preferencialmente em \u00e1reas rurais do estado, que demonstrem destacado engajamento junto a movimentos sociais.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m de promover o interc\u00e2mbio acad\u00eamico-cient\u00edfico, a iniciativa visa formar m\u00e9dicos para atua\u00e7\u00e3o em regi\u00f5es de dif\u00edcil acesso e car\u00eancia de profissionais no interior do estado.<\/p>\n

Com este prop\u00f3sito, o edital prev\u00ea que ap\u00f3s conclus\u00e3o do curso e valida\u00e7\u00e3o do diploma no Brasil, os candidatos selecionados dever\u00e3o atuar, no m\u00ednimo, por dois anos em \u00e1reas rurais da Bahia.<\/p>\n
