O munic\u00edpio de Iuiu, no sudoeste baiano, est\u00e1 de luto neste por conta da morte do procurador municipal, Charles William Lopes Rejala, de 39 anos.<\/strong> Ele sofreu um acidente na noite de sexta-feira (14), no km 6 da BA-160, trecho que liga a sede ao distrito de Pindorama.<\/p>\n

De acordo com as informa\u00e7\u00f5es do Achei Sudoeste, site parceiro do Acorda Cidade, o ve\u00edculo conduzido por Charles saiu da pista e caiu em uma ribanceira. O Servi\u00e7o de Atendimento M\u00f3vel de Urg\u00eancia (Samu) foi acionado imediatamente, por\u00e9m a equipe encontrou o procurador j\u00e1 sem vida.<\/p>\n

O 17\u00ba Batalh\u00e3o da Pol\u00edcia Militar isolou a \u00e1rea at\u00e9 a chegada do Departamento de Pol\u00edcia T\u00e9cnica (DPT), respons\u00e1vel pela remo\u00e7\u00e3o do corpo, que foi encaminhado ao Instituto M\u00e9dico Legal (IML) de Guanambi.<\/p>\n

A not\u00edcia provocou forte como\u00e7\u00e3o na cidade. A Prefeitura de Iuiu publicou uma nota oficial lamentando profundamente a perda, decretando tr\u00eas dias de luto. <\/strong>O comunicado destacou a trajet\u00f3ria do advogado, seu trabalho \u00e0 frente da Procuradoria Municipal e sua liga\u00e7\u00e3o com importantes nomes da pol\u00edtica local.<\/p>\n

A gest\u00e3o ressaltou que Charles era filho da ex-vereadora Madalena Lopes, sobrinho da prefeita Valdinha, do ex-prefeito Bia e do ex-vereador Salvador Bolinha (em mem\u00f3ria), al\u00e9m de neto do ex-prefeito de Malhada, Vicente Cristo Lopes. Segundo a nota, ele deixa \u201cum importante legado pelos inestim\u00e1veis servi\u00e7os prestados \u00e0 comunidade, colecionando in\u00fameros amigos e admiradores pelo profissionalismo, alegria e simpatia\u201d.<\/p>\n
