A C\u00e2mara de vereadores de Paulo Afonso aprovou, na segunda-feira (1\u00ba), o projeto que institui a loteria do munic\u00edpio, a Lotopa. A proposta recebeu 10 votos favor\u00e1veis, 6 contr\u00e1rios e 1 absten\u00e7\u00e3o. A prefeitura afirma que a iniciativa busca ampliar as fontes de receita diante das limita\u00e7\u00f5es or\u00e7ament\u00e1rias enfrentadas pelo munic\u00edpio.<\/p>\n

Segundo o site Pa4, parceiro do Acorda Cidade, a loteria poder\u00e1 funcionar presencialmente ou por meio digital, incluindo modalidades como apostas num\u00e9ricas, progn\u00f3sticos esportivos, loteria instant\u00e2nea e apostas de quota fixa. Ainda segundo o site, a opera\u00e7\u00e3o poder\u00e1 ser direta pelo munic\u00edpio ou concedida a empresas privadas por contratos de at\u00e9 15 anos. A arrecada\u00e7\u00e3o l\u00edquida ser\u00e1 usada em \u00e1reas essenciais, como sa\u00fade, educa\u00e7\u00e3o e infraestrutura.<\/p>\n

A Secretaria Municipal da Fazenda ser\u00e1 respons\u00e1vel pela fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o. A operadora dever\u00e1 cumprir regras de seguran\u00e7a, defesa do consumidor e preven\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 lavagem de dinheiro. O Executivo ter\u00e1 120 dias para regulamentar o sistema e definir as normas de funcionamento.<\/p>\n
