A Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Social (Sedeso), em parceria com a Secretaria de Agricultura (Seagri), anunciou que na pr\u00f3xima quinta-feira, dia 4 de dezembro, ser\u00e3o distribu\u00eddos 3 mil pratos de caruru em comemora\u00e7\u00e3o ao Dia de Santa B\u00e1rbara \u2014 celebra\u00e7\u00e3o religiosa e cultural profundamente enraizada na tradi\u00e7\u00e3o baiana. A a\u00e7\u00e3o acontecer\u00e1 no Restaurante Popular, a partir do meio-dia.<\/p>\n

Segundo a Sedeso, a iniciativa busca valorizar as manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es culturais do povo baiano e, ao mesmo tempo, garantir alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de qualidade \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o em situa\u00e7\u00e3o de vulnerabilidade social. O card\u00e1pio especial preparado para a data inclui caruru, vatap\u00e1, arroz e galinha cozida, compondo um dos pratos mais emblem\u00e1ticos da culin\u00e1ria local.<\/p>\n

A secret\u00e1ria de Desenvolvimento Social destacou que a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o j\u00e1 faz parte do calend\u00e1rio anual do \u00f3rg\u00e3o e refor\u00e7a o papel do Restaurante Popular como equipamento essencial de seguran\u00e7a alimentar. \u201cCelebrar o Dia de Santa B\u00e1rbara \u00e9 celebrar a for\u00e7a do nosso povo. Queremos unir f\u00e9, cultura, solidariedade e inclus\u00e3o em um gesto que fortalece nossa identidade e acolhe quem mais precisa\u201d, afirmou Sampaio.<\/p>\n
