A per\u00edcia t\u00e9cnica realizada pelo DPT-BA constatou a presen\u00e7a da subst\u00e2ncia metanol em bebidas destiladas consumidas por sete pessoas na cidade de Ribeira do Pombal e an\u00e1lise laboratorial confirmou a presen\u00e7a de metanol nas amostras de sangue das v\u00edtimas.<\/p>\n

A Secretaria da Sa\u00fade do Estado (Sesab), em conjunto com a Secretaria Municipal de Sa\u00fade de Ribeira do Pombal, adotou imediatamente o protocolo orientado pelo Minist\u00e9rio da Sa\u00fade nestas circunst\u00e2ncias.<\/p>\n

As sete pessoas receberam todo o tratamento e aten\u00e7\u00e3o no Hospital Geral Santa Tereza, em Ribeira do Pombal, al\u00e9m do ant\u00eddoto, nos casos em que havia indica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Simultaneamente, a Vigil\u00e2ncia Sanit\u00e1ria Municipal, juntamente com a Pol\u00edcia Civil procedeu \u00e0 localiza\u00e7\u00e3o e interdi\u00e7\u00e3o do estabelecimento que comercializou a bebida.<\/p>\n

Face ao ocorrido, a Sesab orienta que toda a popula\u00e7\u00e3o baiana reforce, especialmente neste per\u00edodo de festividades, as medidas recomendadas quando da compra e consumo de bebidas destiladas, certificando-se da proced\u00eancia, da n\u00e3o viola\u00e7\u00e3o das embalagens e selos de seguran\u00e7a e da idoneidade dos estabelecimentos comercializadores destas bebidas.<\/p>\n
