Ag\u00eancia Brasil \u2013 O advogado Wellington C\u00e9sar Lima e Silva \u00e9 o novo ministro da Justi\u00e7a e Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica.<\/strong>\u00a0Ele foi\u00a0convidado para assumir o cargo em encontro com o presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (13)<\/strong>,\u00a0segundo nota do Pal\u00e1cio do Planalto.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A nomea\u00e7\u00e3o de Wellington Silva ser\u00e1 publicada em edi\u00e7\u00e3o extra, ainda hoje, no Di\u00e1rio Oficial da Uni\u00e3o. Ele ir\u00e1 substituir Ricardo Lewandowski.<\/p>\n

Wellington Silva estava como advogado-geral da Petrobras<\/strong>. \u00c9 a segunda vez que ocupa o cargo de ministro da Justi\u00e7a, pois j\u00e1 chefiou\u00a0a pasta durante a gest\u00e3o de Dilma Rousseff.<\/p>\n

Ele tamb\u00e9m foi secret\u00e1rio especial para Assuntos Jur\u00eddicos da Presid\u00eancia da Rep\u00fablica na atual gest\u00e3o. Em sua trajet\u00f3ria, j\u00e1 ocupou os cargos de procurador-geral da Justi\u00e7a da Bahia e procurador-geral de Justi\u00e7a adjunto para Assuntos Jur\u00eddicos.\u00a0<\/p>\n

No \u00faltimo dia 8, Ricardo Lewandowski\u00a0entregou uma carta com pedido de demiss\u00e3o ao presidente Lula. Magistrado aposentado do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), ele havia assumido\u00a0a pasta em fevereiro de 2024 e deixou\u00a0o cargo com quase dois anos de gest\u00e3o, justificando que\u00a0quest\u00f5es pessoais e familiares o levaram a tomar a decis\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
