O servi\u00e7o \u00e9 feito pela internet e de qualquer dispositivo, funcionado com o cadastro do aparelho e gerando um alerta on-line para as for\u00e7as de seguran\u00e7a. <\/p>\n<p id=\"paragrafo-d1b9w3i3p2\">O cidad\u00e3o tem at\u00e9 48 horas, a partir do registro do alerta, para formalizar o Boletim de Ocorr\u00eancia. Caso o BO n\u00e3o seja feito dentro desse prazo, o alerta \u00e9 cancelado automaticamente. Com o alerta ativo, o celular pode ser identificado em abordagens policiais atrav\u00e9s do IMEI, n\u00famero \u00fanico de cada aparelho. O IMEI \u00e9 consultado nos bancos de dados da Secretaria da Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica da Bahia (SSP).<\/p>\n<p id=\"paragrafo-sn2ltfh47r\">Segundo informa\u00e7\u00f5es do portal Correio, al\u00e9m de celulares, a ferramenta aceita o cadastro de tablets e smartwatches. De acordo com a Pol\u00edcia Civil, quando um aparelho com alerta ativo \u00e9 localizado, o respons\u00e1vel pelo cadastro recebe um aviso por e-mail, informando a delegacia onde o celular poder\u00e1 ser retirado.
