O prefeito de Jequi\u00e9, no M\u00e9dio Rio de Contas, Sudoeste baiano, Z\u00e9 Coc\u00e1, sinalizou que pode apoiar a reelei\u00e7\u00e3o de Jer\u00f4nimo Rodrigues (PT), mas condicionou a decis\u00e3o ao avan\u00e7o de demandas locais, sobretudo \u00e0 constru\u00e7\u00e3o do aeroporto regional no Entroncamento de Jaguaquara, no Vale do Jiquiri\u00e7\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Coc\u00e1 voltou a falar sobre o tema durante abertura dos trabalhos legislativos de 2026 na C\u00e2mara Municipal de Jequi\u00e9, nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (24). O gestor tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 cortejado para ser pr\u00e9-candidato a vice na chapa oposicionista, com o ex-prefeito de Salvador ACM Neto (Uni\u00e3o).<\/p>\n

Segundo o\u00a0Blog do Marcos Frahm, parceiro do Acorda Cidade, no discurso Z\u00e9 Coc\u00e1 disse que a obra do aeroporto \u00e9 considerada estrat\u00e9gica para impulsionar o desenvolvimento econ\u00f4mico de Jequi\u00e9 e de toda a microrregi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

O prefeito cobrou defini\u00e7\u00e3o do governo estadual sobre prazos, desapropria\u00e7\u00f5es e planejamento do projeto, afirmando que a demora preocupa a gest\u00e3o municipal.<\/p>\n

Mesmo afirmando que n\u00e3o pretende deixar a prefeitura para disputar cargo eletivo, o gestor segue sendo disputado por situa\u00e7\u00e3o e oposi\u00e7\u00e3o. \u00a0Ainda conforme o prefeito, a disputa ser\u00e1 \u201cdura e competitiva\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n
