A Pol\u00edcia Federal deflagrou, nesta quinta-feira (5\/3), a Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Novo Oeste, com o objetivo de combater crimes de tr\u00e1fico de drogas, tr\u00e1fico de armas e lavagem de dinheiro praticados por organiza\u00e7\u00e3o criminosa com atua\u00e7\u00e3o na regi\u00e3o oeste da Bahia.<\/p>\n

Ao todo, foram cumpridos 13 mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o nos estados da Bahia, Sergipe, Maranh\u00e3o, S\u00e3o Paulo, Minas Gerais e no DF. Na Bahia, foi cumprido um mandado na cidade de Barreiras e dois em Lu\u00eds Eduardo Magalh\u00e3es\/BA.<\/p>\n

Durante o cumprimento dos mandados, houve a pris\u00e3o em flagrante de um dos investigados por porte de drogas e o cumprimento de mandado de pris\u00e3o em aberto, na cidade de Aracaju\/SE.<\/p>\n

As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es continuam, com foco no rastreamento patrimonial e na completa desarticula\u00e7\u00e3o da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o criminosa.<\/p>\n
