Ag\u00eancia Brasil \u2014 O ex-presidente do Uruguai e \u00edcone da esquerda latino-americana\u00a0Jos\u00e9 Pepe Mujica, que\u00a0morreu no ano passado\u00a0aos 89 anos<\/a>, receber\u00e1 o t\u00edtulo de Doutor Honoris Causa pela Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A cerim\u00f4nia\u00a0est\u00e1 marcada\u00a0para esta quinta-feira (19), no Centro de Forma\u00e7\u00e3o e Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Permanente (Cenforpe), em S\u00e3o Bernardo do Campo (SP).<\/p>\n

Luc\u00eda Topolansky, ex-vice-presidenta do Uruguai e companheira de vida e trajet\u00f3ria pol\u00edtica de Mujica, e o presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva participam do evento.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A concess\u00e3o da honraria foi aprovada pelo Conselho Universit\u00e1rio em junho de 2024, um ano antes da morte de Mujica.<\/p>\n

A proposta foi encaminhada pela Associa\u00e7\u00e3o dos Docentes da UFABC (ADUFABC) e pelo Sindicato dos Trabalhadores das Universidades Federais do ABC (SinTUFABC), com ratifica\u00e7\u00e3o da reitoria.<\/p>\n

Reconhecimento<\/h2>\n

A homenagem, agora p\u00f3stuma, reconhece a\u00a0trajet\u00f3ria de Mujica como\u00a0lideran\u00e7a contempor\u00e2nea associada \u00e0 promo\u00e7\u00e3o de valores como democracia, diversidade, educa\u00e7\u00e3o, consci\u00eancia \u00e9tica e integra\u00e7\u00e3o regional.<\/strong><\/p>\n
