O empres\u00e1rio e t\u00e9cnico de futebol Vanderlei Luxemburgo (Podemos), 73 anos, est\u00e1 internado na UTI de um hospital particular em Palmas. Ele passou por exames m\u00e9dicos em que foi diagnosticado com um quadro de infec\u00e7\u00e3o pulmonar.<\/p>\n

Segundo a assessoria, ele apresentou mal-estar durante a madrugada e na manh\u00e3 desta quinta-feira (20), sendo encaminhado ao Hospital Medical Santa Thereza, em Palmas (TO).<\/p>\n

Por orienta\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dica, Luxemburgo ser\u00e1 transferido para a Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) do mesmo hospital, onde iniciou tratamento com antibioticoterapia adequada. Em raz\u00e3o do quadro, todas as agendas estar\u00e3o suspensas at\u00e9 o seu restabelecimento.<\/p>\n

Vanderlei anunciou sua pr\u00e9-candidatura ao Senado pelo Tocantins na quarta-feira (18).<\/p>\n

Quem \u00e9 Vanderlei Luxemburgo<\/h2>\n

Luxemburgo \u00e9 casado e possui tr\u00eas filhas. Ele iniciou na politica ao ingressar no Partido Socialista Brasileiro (PSB) para concorrer a uma vaga no Senado pelo estado do Tocantins. J\u00e1 em abril de 2024, filiou-se ao Podemos (PODE).<\/p>\n

Natural de Nova Igua\u00e7u (RJ), Luxemburgo como t\u00e9cnico, conquistou cinco campeonatos brasileiros, nove paulistas, uma Copa do Brasil, uma Copa Am\u00e9rica pela sele\u00e7\u00e3o e diversos estaduais Brasil afora em diferentes times, totalizando 48 t\u00edtulos ao longo de toda a carreira.<\/p>\n

O profissional est\u00e1 afastado do futebol desde 2023, quando comandou o Corinthians.<\/p>\n
