O Batalh\u00e3o de Opera\u00e7\u00f5es Policiais Especiais (Bope) da Pol\u00edcia Militar da Bahia localizou, na madrugada desta quinta-feira (16), Mar\u00edlio dos Santos, o \u201cMaquinista\u201d, \u00c1s de Ouros\u201d do Baralho do Crime da Secretaria da Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica (SSP). O foragido da Justi\u00e7a, mandante do assassinato de M\u00e3e Bernadete, foi alcan\u00e7ado na zona rural do munic\u00edpio baiano de Catu.<\/p>\n

Durante a tentativa de cumprimento do mandado de pris\u00e3o, Maquinista atirou nas equipes e acabou ferido. Ele chegou a ser socorrido, mas n\u00e3o resistiu. Com ele foram apreendidos arma de fogo e muni\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

Na \u00faltima ter\u00e7a-feira (14), Mar\u00edlio foi condenado a 29 anos e 9 meses de pris\u00e3o, em regime fechado. Apesar de estar foragido, a Justi\u00e7a determinou que ele fosse a j\u00fari popular porque tinha advogado constitu\u00eddo. M\u00e3e Bernadete foi assassinada em agosto de 2023, no quilombo Pitanga dos Palmares, em Sim\u00f5es Filho, na Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana de Salvador.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m de Mar\u00edlio, Arielson da Concei\u00e7\u00e3o dos Santos, apontado como executor do crime, tamb\u00e9m foi julgado e condenado a 40 anos, 5 meses e 22 dias de pris\u00e3o em regime fechado, com pagamento de multa.<\/p>\n

De acordo com a SSP, a ocorr\u00eancia segue em andamento.<\/p>\n
