A Pol\u00edcia Federal deflagrou, nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (28), a opera\u00e7\u00e3o Mare Liberum, com apoio do Gaeco\/MPF e da Corregedoria da Receita Federal, para reprimir esquema de facilita\u00e7\u00e3o de contrabando e de descaminho no Porto do Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

Est\u00e3o sendo cumpridos 45 mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o no RJ e no ES, bem como afastamento dos cargos de 17 auditores fiscais e de 8 analistas tribut\u00e1rios, medidas de bloqueio de bens e de restri\u00e7\u00f5es a atividades profissionais de 9 despachantes.<\/p>\n

As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es apontam atua\u00e7\u00e3o de grupo estruturado na libera\u00e7\u00e3o irregular de mercadorias, com diverg\u00eancias entre produtos importados e declarados, e poss\u00edvel supress\u00e3o de tributos.<\/p>\n
