Um homem de 44 anos morreu na noite de s\u00e1bado (2) ap\u00f3s um acidente envolvendo uma motocicleta e uma carreta na BR-116, no trecho da rodovia entre os munic\u00edpios de Lafaiete Coutinho e Jequi\u00e9, no sudoeste da Bahia.<\/p>\n

Segundo o Blog do Marcos Frahm, site parceiro do Acorda Cidade, a colis\u00e3o aconteceu por volta das 18h, na altura do km 669, j\u00e1 em \u00e1rea urbana de Jequi\u00e9. O motociclista n\u00e3o resistiu aos ferimentos e morreu ainda no local.<\/p>\n

De acordo com informa\u00e7\u00f5es apuradas, a v\u00edtima, Leandro Barbosa dos Santos<\/strong>, seguia pela rodovia quando houve a batida com a carreta.<\/p>\n

O acidente causou impacto no tr\u00e1fego da BR-116, que j\u00e1 registrava lentid\u00e3o desde o dia anterior por conta de outras ocorr\u00eancias na regi\u00e3o. Com isso, um longo congestionamento se formou entre Jequi\u00e9 e Jaguaquara.<\/p>\n

A Pol\u00edcia Rodovi\u00e1ria Federal esteve no local para organizar o tr\u00e2nsito e acionou o Departamento de Pol\u00edcia T\u00e9cnica, que realizou a remo\u00e7\u00e3o do corpo para o Instituto M\u00e9dico Legal de Jequi\u00e9.<\/p>\n

O homem trabalhava em uma empresa de cal\u00e7ados em Jequi\u00e9 e havia passado o dia na casa da esposa, em Lafaiete Coutinho, antes de retornar.<\/p>\n
