Na Bahia, estado pioneiro na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o e emprego da tecnologia de Reconhecimento Facial na Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica no Brasil, 5.310 foragidos da Justi\u00e7a foram alcan\u00e7ados e presos at\u00e9 a primeira semana de maio. Apenas em 2026, 863 criminosos acabaram alcan\u00e7ados. O estado virou refer\u00eancia para outros entes da federa\u00e7\u00e3o que tamb\u00e9m passaram a usar a ferramenta.<\/p>\n

A partir de 2023, a ferramenta passou por an\u00e1lise, foi ampliada e ultrapassou o n\u00famero de presos dos anos anteriores. Em 2023 foram realizadas 680 capturas, no ano de 2024 a Pol\u00edcia alcan\u00e7ou 1.132 foragidos e, no ano passado, 2.059 criminosos foram presos.<\/p>\n

Atualmente, al\u00e9m da capital, mais de 80 cidades baianas contam com c\u00e2meras de Reconhecimento Facial. Os pontos de v\u00eddeomonitoramento est\u00e3o distribu\u00eddos em locais estrat\u00e9gicos, que passam por an\u00e1lises regulares de especialistas.<\/p>\n
