Uma mulher de 44 anos foi conduzida \u00e0 delegacia na segunda-feira (25), suspeita de matar um cachorro e incendiar o corpo do animal no munic\u00edpio de Itaberaba, no bairro Primavera.<\/p>\n

De acordo com informa\u00e7\u00f5es da Prefeitura de Itaberaba, uma den\u00fancia an\u00f4nima mobilizou equipes da Pol\u00edcia Militar, Pol\u00edcia Civil, protetores de animais e profissionais do Centro de Refer\u00eancia Especializado de Assist\u00eancia Social (Creas), que foram at\u00e9 o endere\u00e7o. No im\u00f3vel indicado, foi encontrado o corpo carbonizado de um cachorro.<\/p>\n

Ainda segundo a Prefeitura, a suspeita teria apedrejado o animal antes de atear fogo no corpo. Durante a ocorr\u00eancia, a mulher confessou o crime.<\/p>\n

De acordo com o g1, a Pol\u00edcia Civil informou que a suspeita foi ouvida e responder\u00e1 ao inqu\u00e9rito em liberdade. A 1\u00aa Delegacia Territorial de Itaberaba instaurou procedimento para investigar o caso, e dilig\u00eancias seguem sendo realizadas.<\/p>\n

Em nota, a Prefeitura de Itaberaba destacou que maus-tratos contra c\u00e3es e gatos \u00e9 crime, com pena prevista de dois a cinco anos de reclus\u00e3o, al\u00e9m de multa. A administra\u00e7\u00e3o municipal tamb\u00e9m refor\u00e7ou a import\u00e2ncia das den\u00fancias para o combate \u00e0 viol\u00eancia contra animais. Em Itaberaba, as den\u00fancias an\u00f4nimas podem ser feitas ao Centro Municipal de Cuidados a Animais de Rua.<\/strong><\/p>\n
