Com o objetivo de cumprir mandados judiciais contra um grupo criminoso investigado por tr\u00e1fico de drogas e crimes contra a vida, com atua\u00e7\u00e3o na capital baiana e na Ilha de Itaparica, foi deflagrada, nesta sexta-feira (29), a Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Marineford, a\u00e7\u00e3o integrada entre as Pol\u00edcias Civil e Militar. At\u00e9 o momento, quatro homens foram presos em Vera Cruz e um investigado morreu ap\u00f3s confronto com as equipes policiais.<\/p>\n

A opera\u00e7\u00e3o cumpriu mandados de pris\u00e3o tempor\u00e1ria e de busca e apreens\u00e3o nas cidades de Vera Cruz e Salvador. No bairro de Dom Avelar, na capital baiana, equipes da Pol\u00edcia Civil localizaram um dos principais alvos da opera\u00e7\u00e3o, um homem de 27 anos. Conforme as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es, ao perceber a aproxima\u00e7\u00e3o policial, o suspeito reagiu \u00e0 abordagem, houve confronto e ele foi atingido.<\/p>\n

O homem chegou a ser socorrido para uma unidade de sa\u00fade, mas n\u00e3o resistiu aos ferimentos. Segundo as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es, o suspeito era apontado como um dos l\u00edderes do tr\u00e1fico de drogas em Vera Cruz, com atua\u00e7\u00e3o nas localidades de Barra Grande e Praia do Sol. Ele possu\u00eda registros por crimes de homic\u00eddio, tr\u00e1fico de drogas e posse irregular de arma de fogo.<\/p>\n

As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es apontam que o grupo criminoso possui estrutura organizada e divis\u00e3o de fun\u00e7\u00f5es, atuando de forma articulada no abastecimento de entorpecentes e armamentos destinados a integrantes envolvidos em a\u00e7\u00f5es criminosas nas regi\u00f5es investigadas.<\/p>\n

A ofensiva das for\u00e7as de seguran\u00e7a, que est\u00e1 em curso, \u00e9 realizada pela Pol\u00edcia Civil da Bahia, por meio do Departamento Especializado de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e Repress\u00e3o ao Narcotr\u00e1fico (Denarc), com apoio da 24\u00aa Delegacia Territorial (DT\/Vera Cruz), unidade vinculada ao Departamento de Pol\u00edcia Metropolitana (Depom), de forma integrada com a Pol\u00edcia Militar da Bahia, atrav\u00e9s do 23\u00ba Batalh\u00e3o da Pol\u00edcia Militar (23\u00ba BPM\/Vera Cruz).<\/p>\n
