Ag\u00eancia Brasil \u2013 O\u00a0Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet)<\/a>\u00a0emitiu alerta nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (9) para condi\u00e7\u00f5es favor\u00e1veis a um novo epis\u00f3dio de\u00a0El Ni\u00f1o<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Esse fen\u00f4meno clim\u00e1tico global resulta de eleva\u00e7\u00f5es nos ventos e nas temperaturas da superf\u00edcie do mar sobre o Oceano Pac\u00edfico tropical.<\/p>\n

De acordo com o Inmet, um evento de El Ni\u00f1o ocorre quando o \u00cdndice Oce\u00e2nico Ni\u00f1o Relativo (Roni) permanece igual ou superior a 0,5\u00b0C por, pelo menos, cinco trimestres.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cCom base nos dados observados no m\u00eas de maio e nas proje\u00e7\u00f5es, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel inferir que o primeiro trimestre a atingir esse limiar ser\u00e1 abril-maio-junho\u201d, informa o boletim do Inmet.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Monitoramento<\/h2>\n

O instituto monitora as condi\u00e7\u00f5es no Oceano Pac\u00edfico Equatorial, quanto \u00e0 Temperatura da Superf\u00edcie do Mar (TSM), bem como os demais indicadores atmosf\u00e9ricos e oce\u00e2nicos associados ao fen\u00f4meno El Ni\u00f1o.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ao mesmo tempo, avalia previs\u00f5es e boletins emitidos pelos principais centros meteorol\u00f3gicos internacionais especializados no monitoramento clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n

A previs\u00e3o \u00e9 que o\u00a0Inmet divulgue, ao final desta semana, nova nota\u00a0t\u00e9cnica sobre a poss\u00edvel evolu\u00e7\u00e3o do fen\u00f4meno.<\/strong><\/p>\n
