O presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva (PT) informou nesta sexta-feira (12) que concluiu o tratamento complementar contra um c\u00e2ncer de pele diagnosticado no couro cabeludo. A declara\u00e7\u00e3o foi feita durante cerim\u00f4nia no Pal\u00e1cio do Planalto.\u00a0Segundo Lula, a 15\u00aa e \u00faltima sess\u00e3o de radioterapia foi realizada nesta sexta-feira. O presidente afirmou estar recuperado e classificou o tratamento como uma medida para eliminar qualquer risco relacionado \u00e0 doen\u00e7a.<\/p>\n

\u201cHoje, eu fui no hospital e terminei a minha 15\u00aa sess\u00e3o de radioterapia. Tive c\u00e2ncer de pele e a radioterapia \u00e9 para sumir de vez qualquer perspectiva. Estou bem e feliz pela minha cura definitiva desse c\u00e2ncer de pele\u201d, declarou.<\/p>\n

O tratamento teve in\u00edcio em maio, ap\u00f3s a retirada de uma les\u00e3o identificada como carcinoma basocelular, tipo mais comum de c\u00e2ncer de pele associado \u00e0 exposi\u00e7\u00e3o prolongada ao sol. O procedimento cir\u00fargico foi realizado em abril, no Hospital S\u00edrio-Liban\u00eas, em S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n

De acordo com a equipe m\u00e9dica, o tratamento n\u00e3o exigiu afastamento das atividades presidenciais, permitindo que Lula mantivesse normalmente sua agenda de compromissos oficiais.<\/p>\n
