O Senado Federal aprovou o projeto do deputado Leo Prates (Republicanos-BA), que transfere simbolicamente a sede do governo federal para Salvador no dia 2 de julho de cada ano.<\/p>\n

A medida determina que a mudan\u00e7a da sede para Salvador inclua atividades dos Poderes Executivo, Legislativo e Judici\u00e1rio da Uni\u00e3o durante as celebra\u00e7\u00f5es de 2 de julho, considerada o marco da consolida\u00e7\u00e3o da Independ\u00eancia do Brasil.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgrade\u00e7o aos presidentes Hugo Motta e David Alcolumbre por levarem a pauta aos plen\u00e1rios e ao deputado Gabriel Nunes pela relatoria. Estendo o agradecimento aos senadores baianos Otto Alencar e Jaques Wagner pela defesa contundente da causa. \u00c9 um marco pela import\u00e2ncia hist\u00f3rica da Bahia pela soberania nacional\u201d, declarou Prates.<\/p>\n

A proposta ressalva que a transfer\u00eancia n\u00e3o ir\u00e1 prejudicar as atividades essenciais em Bras\u00edlia, pois deve se limitar a atos oficiais e simb\u00f3licos. O Poder Executivo federal vai definir a log\u00edstica, a seguran\u00e7a e a estrutura para os eventos, em coordena\u00e7\u00e3o com os outros Poderes e com as autoridades locais. A nova lei ser\u00e1 sancionada pelo presidente da Rep\u00fablica.<\/p>\n
