Ag\u00eancia Brasil \u2013 Deputados federais da oposi\u00e7\u00e3o protocolaram nesta quinta-feira (22) pedido de impeachment do presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva. Segundo a assessoria da deputada Carla Zambelli (PL-SP), autora da proposta, o pedido tem 139 assinaturas e mais quatro nomes ser\u00e3o acrescentados na pr\u00f3xima segunda-feira (26).<\/p>\n

O pedido foi apresentado ap\u00f3s declara\u00e7\u00e3o em que Lula comparou as a\u00e7\u00f5es militares de Israel na Faixa de Gaza ao Holocausto contra judeus na 2\u00aa Guerra Mundial.<\/p>\n

Os parlamentares argumentam que o presidente infringiu artigo da Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o Federal que prev\u00ea como crime de responsabilidade \u201ccometer ato de hostilidade contra na\u00e7\u00e3o estrangeira, expondo a Rep\u00fablica ao perigo da guerra, ou comprometendo-lhe a neutralidade\u201d, conforme o Artigo 5\u00b0 da Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o Federal.<\/p>\n

Nesta semana, ministros, deputados e senadores da base governista defenderam a declara\u00e7\u00e3o de Lula. Segundo eles, o presidente buscou chamar a aten\u00e7\u00e3o para as mortes de civis palestinos na Faixa de Gaza, e n\u00e3o ofender ou criticar o povo judeu.<\/p>\n

A abertura do processo depende de decis\u00e3o do presidente da C\u00e2mara dos Deputados, Arthur Lira (PP-AL).<\/p>\n
