A Pol\u00edcia Federal deflagrou, nesta quinta-feira (13), em parceria com o Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico Federal, com a Receita Federal do Brasil e com a Secretaria de Pr\u00eamios e Apostas do Minist\u00e9rio da Fazenda, a Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Arena<\/strong><\/a>, para investigar grupo empresarial suspeito de utilizar estrutura societ\u00e1ria e financeira no exterior para ocultar a origem e a destina\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos provenientes da explora\u00e7\u00e3o de jogos de azar e de apostas esportivas.<\/p>\n

S\u00e3o cumpridos 17 mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o, expedidos pela 4\u00aa Vara Federal da Para\u00edba, al\u00e9m de medidas de quebra de sigilo telem\u00e1tico e banc\u00e1rio e sequestro de at\u00e9 R$ 1,1 bilh\u00e3o, nos estados da Para\u00edba, de S\u00e3o Paulo, de Sergipe, do Rio de Janeiro e do Paran\u00e1.<\/p>\n
