Um inc\u00eandio em uma \u00e1rea de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o no munic\u00edpio de Caetit\u00e9, no sudoeste da Bahia, provocou uma intensa nuvem de fuma\u00e7a e levou moradores a buscar atendimento m\u00e9dico na tarde desta quarta-feira (23). Segundo a Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente, idosos apresentaram desconforto e complica\u00e7\u00f5es respirat\u00f3rias e foram atendidos na Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) da cidade.<\/p>\n

As chamas come\u00e7aram por volta das 12h, em um terreno conhecido como Alto do Br\u00e1s, localizado no per\u00edmetro urbano. Apesar da proximidade com a \u00e1rea residencial, nenhuma casa foi diretamente atingida e n\u00e3o houve registro de pessoas feridas pelo fogo.<\/p>\n

O inc\u00eandio, no entanto, ganhou grandes propor\u00e7\u00f5es e a fuma\u00e7a p\u00f4de ser vista de diferentes pontos da regi\u00e3o urbana. Equipes do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar da Bahia (CBMBA), deslocadas de Guanambi, foram acionadas e atuaram no combate \u00e0s chamas para impedir que o fogo avan\u00e7asse.<\/p>\n

A Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente informou ao Achei Sudoeste, site parceiro do Acorda Cidade, que vai instaurar uma investiga\u00e7\u00e3o para identificar as causas do inc\u00eandio e verificar se a queimada teve origem criminosa.<\/p>\n
