Ag\u00eancia Brasil \u2013 Rafael Fonteles foi reeleito governador da Para\u00edba neste domingo (4), no primeiro turno das elei\u00e7\u00f5es de 2026. O candidato do PT obteve 70,16% dos votos v\u00e1lidos, o equivalente a 1.180.667 votos, segundo dados do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE).<\/p>\n

At\u00e9 as 19h29, 83,43% das urnas haviam sido totalizadas no estado. Com o resultado, ele est\u00e1 matematicamente eleito.<\/p>\n

Ribeiro ficou \u00e0 frente de Joel Rodrigues (PP), que recebeu 28,20% dos votos (474.596).<\/p>\n

Na sequ\u00eancia, aparecem os seguintes candidatos:<\/p>\n

Professor Gisvaldo (PSOL), 0,52%;
Dra. L\u00facia Santos (PSDB), 0,49%;
Elizeu Aguar (Novo), 0,27%;
Geraldo Carvalho (PSTU), 0,10%;
Santiago Beliz\u00e1rio (UP), 0,09%;
Lourdes Melo (PCO), 0,07%;
Professor Jurity (DC), 0,05%;
Ravenna da Inclus\u00e3o (Democrata), 0,04%.<\/p>\n

A elei\u00e7\u00e3o para governador \u00e9 definida em primeiro turno quando uma candidatura obt\u00e9m mais da metade dos votos v\u00e1lidos. Com o resultado, n\u00e3o haver\u00e1 segundo turno para o governo do Piau\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Eleito o governador mais jovem do Piau\u00ed em 2022, Rafael Fonteles \u00e9 bacharel em matem\u00e1tica pela Universidade Federal do Piau\u00ed (UFPI). Atualmente com 41 anos, \u00e9 natural de Teresina e mestre em economia matem\u00e1tica pelo Instituto Nacional de Matem\u00e1tica Pura e Aplicada (Impa).<\/p>\n

Fonteles \u00e9 professor e ocupou o cargo de secret\u00e1rio estadual da Fazenda do Piau\u00ed, presidindo o Comit\u00ea Nacional dos Secret\u00e1rios de Fazenda dos Estados e do Distrito Federal (Comsefaz) de 2019 a 2021.<\/p>\n

A vota\u00e7\u00e3o para governador ocorreu simultaneamente \u00e0 elei\u00e7\u00e3o para presidente, senador e deputados federal, estadual ou distrital (no caso do Distrito Federal).<\/p>\n
