A Pol\u00edcia Federal cumpriu, nesta quinta-feira (8), mandado de busca e apreens\u00e3o no munic\u00edpio, durante a Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Canto Falso, que investiga a falsifica\u00e7\u00e3o de anilhas oficiais do Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renov\u00e1veis (Ibama) e a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o irregular de fauna silvestre.<\/p>\n

As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es indicam que o alvo adulterava anilhas do sistema Sispass, utilizado na identifica\u00e7\u00e3o de aves silvestres mantidas legalmente em cativeiro, e utilizava dados de terceiros para conferir apar\u00eancia de legalidade a animais capturados na natureza.<\/p>\n

Durante a a\u00e7\u00e3o, foram apreendidos dois celulares, documentos e um trinca-ferro (Saltator similis<\/em>) mantido irregularmente em cativeiro. A ave foi encaminhada ao Centro de Triagem de Animais Silvestres (Cetas).\u00a0As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es continuam para apura\u00e7\u00e3o dos fatos e respons\u00e1veis.<\/p>\n
