Uma de suas observa\u00e7\u00f5es trata da condi\u00e7\u00e3o humana: a vida que realmente vivemos \u00e9 menor do que imaginamos porque desperdi\u00e7amos tempo em indiferen\u00e7a e luxo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um dos principais representantes do estoicismo, S\u00eaneca argumentava que n\u00e3o recebemos uma vida breve,\u00a0 n\u00f3s a fazemos breve. Viver, em vez de simplesmente deixar o tempo passar, \u00e9 fundamental para quem busca sabedoria e equil\u00edbrio.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"is-style-default has-x-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA vida \u00e9 longa o suficiente se voc\u00ea souber como us\u00e1-la.\u201d \u2014 S\u00eaneca<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"h-o-desperdicio-de-tempo-na-vida-cotidiana\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">O desperd\u00edcio de tempo na vida cotidiana<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">S\u00eaneca observava que as pessoas guardam com cuidado seus bens materiais, mas usam o tempo sem o mesmo cuidado. Enquanto esperam pelo amanh\u00e3, o hoje se esvai. Essa invers\u00e3o de valores, ser frugal com dinheiro e generoso com o tempo, estava entre os erros que ele apontava na exist\u00eancia humana.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A maior parte da vida n\u00e3o \u00e9 vivida de fato, mas ocupada. Quando percebemos quanto tempo perdemos, ele j\u00e1 passou, e nada pode trazer de volta o que foi desperdi\u00e7ado em indiferen\u00e7a e neglig\u00eancia. S\u00eaneca defendia que era preciso apressar-se a viver bem e considerar cada dia uma vida em si mesmo. Essa perspectiva transforma a rotina em oportunidade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A reflex\u00e3o do fil\u00f3sofo vale para quem quer aplicar a sabedoria antiga no presente. Considerar a vida como um conto, em que importa n\u00e3o quanto tempo dura, mas qu\u00e3o boa \u00e9, muda a forma de gastar as horas.
