Em apoio \u00e0 Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Gateway, deflagrada pela Pol\u00edcia Civil do Cear\u00e1, na manh\u00e3 desta quinta-feira (7), investigadores da 23\u00aa Coordenadoria Regional de Pol\u00edcia do Interior (Coorpin) de Eun\u00e1polis cumpriram dois mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o na resid\u00eancia de um suspeito de crimes de estelionato, lavagem de dinheiro e associa\u00e7\u00e3o criminosa. O homem foi preso no Cear\u00e1 e tinha resid\u00eancia na cidade baiana.<\/p>\n

Segundo as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es, o homem efetuou, s\u00f3 em janeiro deste ano, o disparo de cerca de nove milh\u00f5es de SMS com conte\u00fado fraudulento, contendo link\u2019s para acesso (phishing) por meio de linhas, que gerou um preju\u00edzo financeiro de aproximadamente R$ 1 milh\u00e3o de reais a uma empresa de telefonia.<\/p>\n

Um celular foi apreendido e encaminhado para o Departamento de Pol\u00edcia T\u00e9cnica (DPT) do Cear\u00e1, para ser periciado.<\/p>\n
