A Guarda Municipal de Feira de Santana, uma das mais antigas do pa\u00eds, completa 131 anos de exist\u00eancia nesta segunda-feira (25). A institui\u00e7\u00e3o, que tem como principal atribui\u00e7\u00e3o resguardar os equipamentos p\u00fablicos do munic\u00edpio, tamb\u00e9m tem cumprido um importante papel na sociedade.<\/p>\n

\u201cA Guarda Civil de Feira tem em seu hist\u00f3rico um trabalho feito por profissionais que se dedicam a fortalecer a seguran\u00e7a p\u00fablica do munic\u00edpio com seriedade e compromisso, fazendo de cada feirense sua prioridade\u201d, afirma o comandante Itamar Soares.<\/p>\n

Atualmente, a Guarda Municipal \u00e9 formada por 205 integrantes, sendo 143 homens e 65 mulheres. Eles est\u00e3o lotados em v\u00e1rias reparti\u00e7\u00f5es da Prefeitura, nos parques municipais, assim como realizam rondas escolares e patrulhas. Ainda est\u00e3o presentes no CCO (Centro de Comando Operacional) e na Central de Comando Integrada.<\/p>\n

A corpora\u00e7\u00e3o realiza um trabalho preventivo e ostensivo nos principais pontos da cidade, com a presen\u00e7a de 4 viaturas 24 horas por dia.<\/p>\n
