O Tribunal de Justi\u00e7a da Bahia suspendeu a liminar que impedia o andamento da licita\u00e7\u00e3o do VLT de Salvador e Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana. A decis\u00e3o, assinada pela presidente do TJ, Cynthia Maria Pina, foi publicada nesta quarta-feira (27).<\/p>\n

O documento afirma que a paralisa\u00e7\u00e3o da licita\u00e7\u00e3o \u201cimpede a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de um modal vi\u00e1rio importante para o desenvolvimento econ\u00f4mico e social sustent\u00e1vel da regi\u00e3o metropolitana da capital baiana\u201d.<\/p>\n

Para Ana Claudia Nascimento, presidente da Companhia de Transportes do Estado da Bahia (CTB), a decis\u00e3o refor\u00e7a o processo transparente sob o qual a licita\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 sendo conduzida.<\/p>\n

\u201c N\u00e3o t\u00ednhamos d\u00favida de que a Justi\u00e7a decidiria pela continuidade da licita\u00e7\u00e3o, ela \u00e9 transparente desde o princ\u00edpio e n\u00e3o havia motivo para ser paralisada. Seguiremos trabalhando com afinco e celeridade. A popula\u00e7\u00e3o merece e precisa do VLT. O nosso cronograma est\u00e1 mantido e, em julho , daremos in\u00edcio \u00e0s obras\u201d, declarou ela.<\/p>\n
