O deputado federal Paulo Azi (Uni\u00e3o) confirmou que teve o nome cotado pelo presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva (PT) para assumir o Minist\u00e9rio das Comunica\u00e7\u00f5es no in\u00edcio do governo, antes mesmo do seu colega de partido, Juscelino Filho, chefiar a pasta.<\/p>\n

O parlamentar afirmou que estava de f\u00e9rias em Praia do Forte, no munic\u00edpio de Mata de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o, na Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana de Salvador (RMS), quando recebeu duas liga\u00e7\u00f5es: Um do l\u00edder do Uni\u00e3o Brasil na C\u00e2mara dos Deputados, Elmar Nascimento, e outra do senador Davi Alcolumbre (Uni\u00e3o) informando que Lula iria convid\u00e1-lo. A declara\u00e7\u00e3o foi dada durante entrevista ao Podcast Projeto Prisma, do Bahia Not\u00edcias, nesta segunda-feira (22).<\/p>\n

\u201cTomei um susto. N\u00e3o passou pela minha cabe\u00e7a esse tipo de coisa. Mas depois eu retornei a eles e pedi para que avisassem ao presidente para n\u00e3o me ligar\u201d, disse Paulo Azi. O parlamentar foi incisivo ao dizer que sempre fez oposi\u00e7\u00e3o ao PT para justificar sua decis\u00e3o em dizer \u201cn\u00e3o\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cImaginei que n\u00e3o teria como, de uma hora para outra, passar um pano nisso tudo e ir apoiar o presidente. Porque \u00f3bvio que se eu fosse ser ministro dele [Lula] teria que passar a defender suas ideias e seus projetos. A sondagem houve e fico grato por isso\u201d, destacou o parlamentar, dizendo que acredita ter tomado a atitude correta.<\/p>\n
