Ag\u00eancia Brasil- Ao comentar os efeitos dos temporais registrados no Rio Grande do Sul no agroneg\u00f3cio brasileiro, o presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva disse nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (7) que o pa\u00eds pode precisar importar arroz e feij\u00e3o para equilibrar a produ\u00e7\u00e3o e conter o aumento dos pre\u00e7os.<\/p>\n

\u201cFiz uma reuni\u00e3o com o ministro [do Desenvolvimento Agr\u00e1rio e Agricultura Familiar] Paulo Teixeira e com o ministro [da Agricultura, Pecu\u00e1ria e Abastecimento] Carlos F\u00e1varo sobre a quest\u00e3o do pre\u00e7o do arroz e do feij\u00e3o, porque estavam caros. Eu disse que n\u00e3o era poss\u00edvel a gente continuar com o pre\u00e7o caro. Alegaram que a \u00e1rea plantada estava diminuindo e que havia um problema do atraso da colheita no Rio Grande do Sul.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAgora, com a chuva, acho que n\u00f3s atrasamos de vez a colheita do Rio Grande do Sul. Se for o caso, para equilibrar a produ\u00e7\u00e3o, vamos ter que importar arroz, vamos ter que importar feij\u00e3o. Para que a gente coloque na mesa do povo brasileiro um pre\u00e7o compat\u00edvel com aquilo que ele ganha\u201d, completou, ao participar de entrevista a emissoras de r\u00e1dio durante o programa Bom Dia, Presidente, produzido pela Empresa Brasil de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o (EBC).<\/p>\n
