Guarni\u00e7\u00f5es da Companhia Independente de Pol\u00edcia de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental (Cippa) Len\u00e7\u00f3is desarticularam, no final da manh\u00e3 de quarta-feira (29), um garimpo ilegal no munic\u00edpio de Oliveira dos Brejinhos.<\/p>\n

Os policiais militares receberam den\u00fancias an\u00f4nimas relatando a extra\u00e7\u00e3o clandestina de quartzito na localidade conhecida como Vereda. Ao chegarem, os PMs constataram veracidade das informa\u00e7\u00f5es recebidas, identificando o propriet\u00e1rio do garimpo, que admitiu extrair o min\u00e9rio ilegalmente.<\/p>\n

No local, foram encontrados um caminh\u00e3o, duas retroescavadeiras, cinco cont\u00eaineres e cerca de 45 toneladas de quartzito j\u00e1 beneficiado. \u201cO min\u00e9rio pode ser utilizado na siderurgia e no revestimento de projetos arquitet\u00f4nicos e agora poder\u00e1 ser leiloado ou doado pela justi\u00e7a\u201d, revela o major George Porto, comandante da Cippa Len\u00e7\u00f3is<\/p>\n
