Marcelo Alves Garcia, de 55 anos, natural de Salvador, morreu nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (9) ap\u00f3s sofrer uma queda durante voo de parapente na cidade de Candiba, no sudoeste baiano.<\/p>\n

Conforme o site Achei Sudoeste, parceiro do Acorda Cidade, o Mirante da Serra dos Montes Altos, com 1210 metros de altura \u00e9 um local onde diversos pilotos realizam voos, na divisa com o munic\u00edpio de Sebasti\u00e3o Laranjeiras.<\/p>\n

O corpo da v\u00edtima foi resgatado por volta das 17h55, por agentes do 17\u00ba Batalh\u00e3o de Pol\u00edcia Militar (BPM), a 22\u00aa Coordenadoria de Pol\u00edcia do Interior (Coorpin), o Corpo de Bombeiros e o Servi\u00e7o de Atendimento M\u00f3vel de Urg\u00eancia (Samu).<\/p>\n

O corpo de Marcelo foi encaminhado para o Instituto M\u00e9dico Legal (IML) em Guanambi pelo Departamento de Pol\u00edcia T\u00e9cnica (DPT) para ser necropsiado.<\/p>\n

Ainda segundo o site, a Rampa do Mirante fica a 10 km da cidade. O local tem longos chapad\u00f5es e recobertos por vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o do cerrado \u00e1rido.<\/p>\n
