Morreu, neste domingo (26), em Salvador, o prefeito de Angical, munic\u00edpio da regi\u00e3o oeste da Bahia. Emerson Mariani Dias, conhecido como \u201cMezo\u201d, morreu aos 50 anos. A causa da morte do gestor baiano ainda n\u00e3o foi confirmada.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Eleito em 2020, Mezo cumpria seu primeiro mandato como prefeito de Angical. O gestor era filiado ao Progressistas e foi vereador do munic\u00edpio por quatro mandatos. Seu sucessor na prefeitura ser\u00e1 o vice-prefeito Ant\u00f4nio Neto, do PSD. Ainda n\u00e3o h\u00e1 informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre a causa da morte.<\/p>\n

Nas redes sociais, o deputado federal Joseildo Ramos lamentou a morte de Emerson e prestou condol\u00eancias \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o local. \u201cMezo deixa seu legado de dedica\u00e7\u00e3o e preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o com o povo de Angical\u201d, escreveu ele.<\/p>\n
