A professora e bi\u00f3loga Kenya Costa Pinto dos Santos receber\u00e1, da C\u00e2mara Municipal, o t\u00edtulo de Cidadania Feirense. O projeto de Decreto n\u00ba 76\/2023, que prop\u00f5e a homenagem, foi aprovado pelo Poder Legislativo.<\/p>\n

Nascida no Rio de Janeiro, Kenya chegou em Feira de Santana, com seus pais ainda crian\u00e7a, aos 13 anos de idade. Residindo nesta cidade, ela formou em licenciatura em Ci\u00eancias Biol\u00f3gicas pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), especializou-se em Neuropsicologia, Psicopedagogia e em Metodologia do ensino superior.<\/p>\n

A professora fundou, em 1994, em parceria com seu esposo, o col\u00e9gio G\u00eanesis, onde, atualmente, \u00e9 diretora pedag\u00f3gica. A justificativa da homenagem destaca que a contribui\u00e7\u00e3o deste estabelecimento de ensino para a educa\u00e7\u00e3o do Munic\u00edpio \u00e9 \u201cextremamente significativa. Al\u00e9m disso, ressalta a import\u00e2ncia de Kenya para o desenvolvimento educacional da regi\u00e3o\u201d.<\/p>\n
