O Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico Eleitoral (MPE) moveu um recurso neste s\u00e1bado (9) em que pede o deferimento da candidatura da prefeita de Vit\u00f3ria da Conquista, no Sudoeste, Sheila Lemos (Uni\u00e3o). A gestora teve o registro de candidatura negado pelo Tribunal Regional Eleitoral (TRE-BA) que a tornou ineleg\u00edvel nas elei\u00e7\u00f5es deste ano. Lemos teve a maioria de votos, mas n\u00e3o foi declarada vencedora.<\/p>\n

No recurso, emitido neste s\u00e1bado, o vice-procurador-geral eleitoral do MPE, Alexandre Espinosa Bravo Barbosa, afirmou que, em 2020, a ent\u00e3o vice-prefeita Irma Lemos, m\u00e3e de Sheila, assumiu a prefeitura em per\u00edodo fora do tempo vedado [seis meses antes da elei\u00e7\u00e3o], e exerceu o cargo em \u201ccurt\u00edssimo\u201d per\u00edodo [13 dias] em uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o motivada por \u201cmotivo imprevis\u00edvel\u201d, devido ao internamento do ent\u00e3o prefeito Herzem Gusm\u00e3o (MDB).<\/p>\n

O TRE-BA decretou a inegibilidade de Sheila Lemos conforme a tese de terceiro mandato consecutivo, uma vez que ela sucedeu a m\u00e3e como prefeita de Vit\u00f3ria da Conquista.<\/p>\n

A manifesta\u00e7\u00e3o do MPE segue no mesmo entendimento da Procuradoria Regional Eleitoral (PRE) na Bahia. Segundo o procurador Samir Cabus Nachef J\u00fanior n\u00e3o h\u00e1 \u201cterceiro mandato familiar\u201d.<\/p>\n
