Ag\u00eancia Brasil \u2013 O presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva assinou nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (31) a Lei Complementar 211, que impede a retomada do Seguro Obrigat\u00f3rio para Prote\u00e7\u00e3o de V\u00edtimas de Acidentes de Tr\u00e2nsito (SPVAT, o antigo DPVAT). A decis\u00e3o\u00a0faz parte do pacote de corte de gastos\u00a0do governo.<\/p>\n

No dia 18 de dezembro, os deputados e o governo j\u00e1 haviam firmado acordo pela revoga\u00e7\u00e3o da lei que criaria o novo SPVAT. A volta do seguro para 2025 havia sido prevista por uma\u00a0lei complementar assinada\u00a0no \u00faltimo m\u00eas de maio. \u00a0<\/p>\n

O seguro tinha a finalidade de garantir indeniza\u00e7\u00f5es por danos pessoais a v\u00edtimas de acidente de tr\u00e2nsito e seria obrigat\u00f3rio. Estariam previstas indeniza\u00e7\u00e3o por morte, por invalidez e reembolsos para assist\u00eancias m\u00e9dicas e tamb\u00e9m servi\u00e7os funer\u00e1rios.<\/p>\n

Com a revoga\u00e7\u00e3o da lei, v\u00edtimas de acidentes que n\u00e3o tiverem seguro privado n\u00e3o ter\u00e3o direito a indeniza\u00e7\u00f5es. A cobran\u00e7a havia sido encerrada por uma medida provis\u00f3ria assinada pelo ent\u00e3o presidente Jair Bolsonaro em 2019. \u00a0<\/p>\n
