Um homem morreu durante uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o policial realizada na manh\u00e3 desta ter\u00e7a-feira (14) na BR-101. O homem era conhecido como Garrote e \u00e9 apontado como o l\u00edder do tr\u00e1fico de drogas em Porto Seguro. Ele foi baleado durante uma troca de tiros com agentes da Rondesp em um trecho da rodovia entre Eun\u00e1polis e Itabela.<\/p>\n

Segundo o Radar News, site parceiro do Acorda Cidade, Garrote estava acompanhado por outras pessoas em um carro modelo Ford Ka branco. Quando os policiais deram ordem de parada, os ocupantes do ve\u00edculo abriram fogo contra os policiais e fugiram para um matagal \u00e0s margens da rodovia.<\/p>\n

Os policiais perseguiram o grupo na mata e houve um confronto. Segundo a pol\u00edcia, o homem foi encontrado ferido junto com uma pistola calibre 9 mil\u00edmetros. Ele ainda foi socorrido ao Hospital Regional de Eun\u00e1polis, mas n\u00e3o resistiu aos ferimentos.<\/p>\n

Ainda de acordo com o site Radar News, as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es policiais indicam que Garrote teria sa\u00eddo de uma fac\u00e7\u00e3o criminosa em Arraial d\u2019Ajuda e assumido o controle do tr\u00e1fico em Vale Verde ap\u00f3s intensos conflitos na regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
