Em pouco mais de dois meses, o Sistema de Reconhecimento Facial da Secretaria da Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica atingiu, na tarde desta segunda-feira (17), a marca de 500 foragidos da Justi\u00e7a alcan\u00e7ados em 2025. Com m\u00e9dia de 6 pris\u00f5es por dia, no acumulado, desde 2019, a ferramenta acumula 2.887 capturas.<\/p>\n

Os \u00faltimos flagrantes aconteceram na capital baiana e na cidade de Cruz das Almas, no Rec\u00f4ncavo Baiano. Os presos eram procurados por constrangimento ilegal, roubo e d\u00edvida de pens\u00e3o aliment\u00edcia.<\/p>\n

Desde a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o em 2019, a ferramenta auxiliou na captura de 2.887 pessoas com mandados de pris\u00e3o. Entre os capturados aparecem homicidas, latrocidas, estupradores, procurados por crimes contra a mulher e contra o patrim\u00f4nio (roubos e furtos).<\/p>\n

\u201cAperfei\u00e7oamos a tecnologia, melhoramos os protocolos, mas a busca ativa feita pelos policiais \u00e9 fundamental nesse alto \u00edndice de pris\u00f5es com apoio da tecnologia. Seguiremos ampliando a cobertura de c\u00e2meras em todo o estado\u201d, garantiu o secret\u00e1rio da Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica, Marcelo Werner.<\/p>\n
