Uma homenagem na C\u00e2mara Municipal marcou as comemora\u00e7\u00f5es pelos 132 anos da Guarda Municipal de Feira de Santana, na noite de quinta-feira (27). A solenidade, realizada durante sess\u00e3o especial, contou com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o do prefeito Jos\u00e9 Ronaldo, que, em sua primeira gest\u00e3o, iniciada em 2001, abriu vagas para o ingresso das primeiras mulheres na corpora\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Durante a solenidade, o prefeito Jos\u00e9 Ronaldo entregou uma homenagem \u00e0 guarda municipal Ana Maria Oliveira Silva, que est\u00e1 h\u00e1 22 anos na institui\u00e7\u00e3o. Ela lembrou que participou do primeiro concurso aberto na Guarda de Feira de Santana para mulheres, durante a gest\u00e3o do atual prefeito.<\/p>\n

Autor da sess\u00e3o especial que resultou em homenagens \u00e0 Guarda Municipal de Feira de Santana, o vereador Ismael Bastos lembrou que esta \u00e9 a terceira institui\u00e7\u00e3o mais antiga do pa\u00eds em funcionamento e que \u00e9 refer\u00eancia n\u00e3o somente para toda a Bahia, mas tamb\u00e9m para o Brasil.<\/p>\n

Para o vereador Marcos Lima, os 132 anos da Guarda Municipal s\u00e3o motivo de orgulho para Feira de Santana. \u201cA Guarda \u00e9 um s\u00edmbolo de coragem\u201d, afirmou, ao recordar que a institui\u00e7\u00e3o foi fundada em 25 de mar\u00e7o de 1893, pelo ent\u00e3o intendente Freire.<\/p>\n

A solenidade tamb\u00e9m contou com a presen\u00e7a do deputado federal Capit\u00e3o Alden, que anunciou uma emenda parlamentar destinando R$ 1 milh\u00e3o para a Guarda Municipal de Feira de Santana.<\/p>\n

As homenagens \u00e0 Guarda Municipal, de autoria do vereador Ismael Bastos, contaram tamb\u00e9m com as presen\u00e7as do presidente da C\u00e2mara Municipal, vereador Marcos Lima, o deputado federal Capit\u00e3o Alden, vereadores, secret\u00e1rios municipais e representantes de guardas municipais de Salvador e de outras cidades baianas.<\/p>\n
