O carro do prefeito de Botupor\u00e3, Edmilson Ant\u00f4nio Saraiva (PT), sofreu um ataque na madrugada deste s\u00e1bado (5). O ve\u00edculo estava estacionado na frente da resid\u00eancia do gestor quando um homem encapuzado quebrou o vidro traseiro e incendiou o carro.<\/p>\n

Segundo o Achei Sudoeste, parceiro do Acorda Cidade, o fato foi confirmado pelo major Fabr\u00edcio Gomes, comandante da 4\u00aa Companhia Independente de Pol\u00edcia Militar (CIPM).<\/p>\n

\u201cEu s\u00f3 escutei o pipoco. Eu e meu pai levantamos e, quando vimos, j\u00e1 era o carro incendiado\u201d, relatou um morador. Ainda segundo o Achei, populares e familiares do prefeito tentaram conter as chamas, mas sem sucesso.<\/p>\n

Uma equipe da Pol\u00edcia Militar esteve no local para isolar a \u00e1rea e evitar outros incidentes. O Departamento de Pol\u00edcia T\u00e9cnica (DPT) foi acionado e realizou a per\u00edcia. O caso est\u00e1 sendo investigado pela Pol\u00edcia Civil.<\/p>\n
