Somente em Feira de Santana<\/a>, mais de 480 pessoas sofrem com a fibromialgia. O n\u00famero foi apresentado na quarta-feira (9), na C\u00e2mara, pela advogada da \u00e1rea de Direito Previdenci\u00e1rio, Cristine Nascimento. Ela foi uma das participantes da sess\u00e3o especial em alus\u00e3o ao Dia de Conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a Fibromialgia, evento de iniciativa do vereador Pedro Am\u00e9rico (Cidadania). Estas pessoas, disse a advogada, precisam de \u201camparo e compreens\u00e3o\u201d.<\/p>\n

Por\u00e9m, esses pacientes enfrentam muitos problemas, como o protocolo de diagn\u00f3stico da doen\u00e7a, que \u00e9 muito dif\u00edcil: \u201cVivem indo de m\u00e9dico em m\u00e9dico, sem obter (o diagn\u00f3stico), na maioria dos casos, \u00e9 at\u00e9 sendo atendidos com descaso, porque ainda h\u00e1 profissionais da \u00e1rea da sa\u00fade que n\u00e3o acreditam que a fibromialgia causa dor cr\u00f4nica\u201d.<\/p>\n

Muitas vezes, assinala, quando essas pessoas chegam aos hospitais, as medica\u00e7\u00f5es prescritas servem apenas como paliativo. Cristine Nascimento pontuou que existe tamb\u00e9m a quest\u00e3o trabalhista. \u201cH\u00e1 quem n\u00e3o consiga trabalhar. Os que conseguem, precisam da compreens\u00e3o do seu chefe\u201d.<\/p>\n

Entretanto, questiona, \u201ccomo o empregador pode se compadecer da dor do seu funcion\u00e1rio, que tem fibromialgia se n\u00e3o h\u00e1 a possibilidade real de um diagn\u00f3stico?\u201d. Isto ocorre, afirma a advogada, porque n\u00e3o h\u00e1 registro do CID (Classifica\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional de Doen\u00e7as) especifico para a fibromialgia.<\/p>\n
