O delegado e ex-deputado estadual Jos\u00e9 Magalh\u00e3es Filho morreu neste domingo (13), aos 80 anos. A causa da morte n\u00e3o foi divulgada. O sepultamento est\u00e1 marcado para a manh\u00e3 desta segunda-feira (14), no Cemit\u00e9rio Jardim da Saudade, em Salvador.<\/p>\n

Natural de Parnamirim, em Pernambuco, Jos\u00e9 Magalh\u00e3es atuou como delegado da Pol\u00edcia Interestadual (Polinter) e exerceu diversas fun\u00e7\u00f5es p\u00fablicas ao longo da carreira. Foi assessor jur\u00eddico do Instituto Brasileiro de Reforma Agr\u00e1ria (IBRA), entre 1967 e 1969, e da Companhia de Energia El\u00e9trica de Pernambuco (CELPE).<\/p>\n

Em 1994, foi eleito deputado estadual na Bahia pelo Partido Trabalhista Brasileiro (PTB), cumprindo mandato na Assembleia Legislativa da Bahia (AL-BA<\/a>) entre 1995 e 1999.<\/p>\n

Em 2011, o delegado foi resgatado ap\u00f3s o carro em que estava despencar do ferry boat Ana Nery, nas proximidades do Terminal de S\u00e3o Joaquim, em Salvador. Ele estava com a esposa no momento do acidente.<\/p>\n
