O ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), determinou h\u00e1 pouco a pris\u00e3o do ex-presidente Fernando Collor.<\/p>\n

A medida foi tomada ap\u00f3s o ministro negar um recurso da defesa de Collor para rever a condena\u00e7\u00e3o a 8 anos e 10 meses de pris\u00e3o por corrup\u00e7\u00e3o passiva e lavagem de dinheiro em um dos processos da Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Lava Jato.<\/p>\n

Em 2023, Collor foi condenado pelo STF em um dos processos da Lava Jato. Conforme a condena\u00e7\u00e3o, o ex-presidente e ex-senador, como antigo dirigente do PTB, foi respons\u00e1vel por indica\u00e7\u00f5es pol\u00edticas para a BR Distribuidora, empresa subsidi\u00e1ria da Petrobras, e recebeu R$ 20 milh\u00f5es em vantagens indevidas em contratos da empresa. Segundo a den\u00fancia, os crimes ocorreram entre 2010 e 2014.<\/p>\n

Na decis\u00e3o, Alexandre de Moraes considerou que os recursos protocolados pela defesa de Collor s\u00e3o protelat\u00f3rios para evitar o fim do processo.<\/p>\n

\u201cA manifesta inadmissibilidade dos embargos, conforme a jurisprud\u00eancia da Corte, revela o car\u00e1ter meramente protelat\u00f3rio dos infringentes, autorizando a certifica\u00e7\u00e3o do tr\u00e2nsito em julgado e o imediato cumprimento da decis\u00e3o condenat\u00f3ria\u201d, decidiu o ministro.<\/p>\n

Moraes tamb\u00e9m solicitou ao presidente do STF, ministro Lu\u00eds Roberto Barroso, a convoca\u00e7\u00e3o de uma sess\u00e3o virtual para referendar sua decis\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
