O Sistema de Reconhecimento Facial da Secretaria da Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica (SSP)<\/a> registrou um aumento de 142% nas pris\u00f5es realizadas entre janeiro e abril de 2025, quando comparado ao mesmo per\u00edodo do ano anterior na capital baiana e Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana de Salvador (RMS).<\/p>\n

Nos quatro primeiros meses deste ano, foram registradas 532 pris\u00f5es, contra os 220 foragidos da Justi\u00e7a localizados com o aux\u00edlio da ferramenta da SSP no mesmo per\u00edodo em 2024.<\/p>\n

As c\u00e2meras de monitoramento da SSP est\u00e3o presentes em Salvador e 80 munic\u00edpios no interior do estado. A tecnologia tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 empregada em grandes eventos, a exemplo do Carnaval e outras festas.<\/p>\n

Em 2025, a tecnologia auxiliou em 988 pris\u00f5es em todo o estado. Desde a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o da ferramenta, 3.375 foragidos da Justi\u00e7a foram localizados.<\/p>\n
