Um homem foi preso na ter\u00e7a-feira (16), por policiais da Delegacia Especializada de Atendimento a Mulher (Deam) de Jequi\u00e9, ap\u00f3s os policiais identificarem que se tratava de um acusado de armazenar e distribuir conte\u00fado pornogr\u00e1fico infantil, al\u00e9m de comercializar o material criminoso.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m do mandado de pris\u00e3o, tamb\u00e9m foram cumpridos cinco mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o. A a\u00e7\u00e3o faz parte da Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Epstein, que tem o objetivo de combater crimes sexuais contra crian\u00e7as e adolescentes. O material localizado nos eletr\u00f4nicos do acusado foi interceptado pelo National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o americana n\u00e3o governamental que recebe den\u00fancias sobre crimes relacionados a abuso sexual infantil e desaparecimento de crian\u00e7as.<\/p>\n

\u201cQuando se trata de suspeitos no Brasil, o NCMEC disponibiliza as not\u00edcias de crime \u00e0 Pol\u00edcia Federal (PF) que distribui \u00e0s autoridades estaduais com atribui\u00e7\u00e3o para o caso. Ap\u00f3s a notifica\u00e7\u00e3o da PF, demos seguimentos \u00e0 investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, que culminou na localiza\u00e7\u00e3o e pris\u00e3o do suspeito\u201d, explicou a titular da Deam de Jequi\u00e9, delegada Grazziela Quaresma.<\/p>\n

Durante a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m foram descobertos ind\u00edcios de abusos sexuais cometidos pelo suspeito contra crian\u00e7as. Este crime, segue em investiga\u00e7\u00e3o na Deam. O homem foi encaminhado para a delegacia e posteriormente levado para o Conjunto Penal de Jequi\u00e9, onde est\u00e1 custodiado \u00e0 disposi\u00e7\u00e3o do Poder Judici\u00e1rio. Todo material eletr\u00f4nico apreendido foi encaminhado para o Departamento de Pol\u00edcia T\u00e9cnica (DPT), onde ser\u00e1 periciado.<\/p>\n
