Policiais militares da Companhia Independente de Pol\u00edcia de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental (COPPA), resgataram cerca de 87 aves silvestres mantidas em cativeiro na cidade de Sim\u00f5es Filho<\/a>, Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana de Salvador, no \u00faltimo s\u00e1bado (12).<\/p>\n

A a\u00e7\u00e3o de resgate dos animais aconteceu na feira popular da cidade, onde eles estavam sendo vendidos ilegalmente. Entre as esp\u00e9cies resgatadas estavam papa-capim, can\u00e1rio-da-terra, cardeal, coleira, p\u00e1ssaro-preto, curi\u00f3, caboclinho, garibaldi e sangue-de-boi.<\/p>\n

Quatro homens, envolvidos na venda ilegal das aves, foram levados para a delegacia da cidade, onde foram tomadas as medidas cab\u00edveis pela Lei de Crimes Ambientais.<\/p>\n
