Uma mulher foi atingida no olho por veneno expelido por um sapo na \u00faltima quarta-feira (5), na zona rural de Livramento de Nossa Senhora<\/a>. O caso ocorreu quando ela tentava retirar o animal do jardim utilizando uma enxada.<\/p>\n

De acordo com informa\u00e7\u00f5es da R\u00e1dio 88 FM, a v\u00edtima apresentou queima\u00e7\u00e3o intensa e vis\u00e3o turva e emba\u00e7ada, sendo encaminhada \u00e0 Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA). Durante o atendimento, houve registro de mal-estar e queda de press\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Segundo o Achei Sudoeste, site parceiro do Acorda Cidade, a m\u00e9dica que realizou o primeiro atendimento recomendou exame oftalmol\u00f3gico detalhado para verificar poss\u00edveis danos nas camadas internas do olho. O estado de sa\u00fade da paciente \u00e9 est\u00e1vel.<\/p>\n

O caso refor\u00e7a a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o para que a popula\u00e7\u00e3o, especialmente em \u00e1reas rurais, evite o contato f\u00edsico com animais silvestres. Especialistas destacam que, embora os sapos n\u00e3o representem amea\u00e7a direta aos seres humanos, podem expelir subst\u00e2ncias t\u00f3xicas como mecanismo de defesa.<\/p>\n
