Uma escola do munic\u00edpio de Caetit\u00e9 foi fechada temporariamente para desinfec\u00e7\u00e3o, ap\u00f3s um dos estudantes, uma crian\u00e7a que n\u00e3o teve a identidade revelada, ser diagnosticada com meningite bacteriana. Segundo o Achei Sudoeste, site parceiro do Acorda Cidade, a Secretaria Municipal de Sa\u00fade justificou a atitude como uma medida imediata de preven\u00e7\u00e3o e controle.<\/p>\n

Ainda segundo o Achei Sudoeste, a crian\u00e7a est\u00e1 internada, apresenta quadro de sa\u00fade est\u00e1vel e responde positivamente ao tratamento. Segundo a Vigil\u00e2ncia Epidemiol\u00f3gica, 22 pessoas que tiveram contato direto com a crian\u00e7a j\u00e1 receberam medica\u00e7\u00e3o preventiva.<\/p>\n

A popula\u00e7\u00e3o foi orientada pela Secretaria de Sa\u00fade a procurar atendimento m\u00e9dico apenas ap\u00f3s apresentarem sintomas como febre alta repentina, dor de cabe\u00e7a intensa, rigidez na nuca, n\u00e1useas, v\u00f4mitos, sonol\u00eancia acentuada, confus\u00e3o mental ou manchas vermelhas\/arroxeadas na pele.<\/p>\n
